These are supposed to be “factory seconds”. I usually take to mean that they have some cosmetic blems. After sorting through all 1500 cases, I can’t understand why the factory didn’t like them. Length, neck size, shoulder dimensions, polymer coating, ALL were correct and the primers were properly seated, too. I used to buy Federal 5.7 and pull the bullets & powder just to get the coated brass. Seriously. Just to get the new brass. I reload a LOT of 5.7×28, and I have been constantly on the lookout for new 5.7×28 cases. These primed cases are literally lower priced than just the primers would cost all by themselves.
