I’ve hand-loaded over 2,000 rounds with this powder and found it to be impressively consistent, especially in my 16″ 1:7 twist barrel. Across my loads, I’ve achieved an average velocity of around 3000 fps (+/- 50 fps) with 55-grain bullets, and there have been no misfires to date. The powder performs reliably with brass from IMI, LC, Remington, and Starline.
My 16″ barrel provides tight groupings at 100 yards, with minimal deviation across batches. I haven’t gone above 25 grains in my experiments, but the results have been excellent for both accuracy and reliability. I also purchased some primed brass from the same source, and it has performed seamlessly.
Overall, this powder has been a standout for my 16″ 1:7 setup, delivering consistent performance and reliability. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to optimize their handloads in similar configurations!
