American Marksman 50 BMG MK263 armor-piercing ammunition consists of Lake City brass, Boxer primers, and 690-grain  projectiles, which contain a hardened steel core and chemical filler at the tip. Designed for long-range training and target practice. This line of ammunition is 100% American-made.

Military Requirements: Because the components come from Lake City Ammunition Plant, the cases must be annealed to meet military specs. This does not mean the cases have been previously used. Unlike civilian rounds, the military requires visual proof of the annealing process. Annealing causes discoloration to the cases with the benefit of added durability.
